Lagos Mirror Magazine:

Key figures of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from Lagos West Senatorial District recently held a strategic convergence aimed at reinforcing the party’s grassroots strength ahead of forthcoming elections. The closed-door engagement was hosted by the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa, at the Speaker’s Lodge in GRA, Ikeja.

The gathering provided a platform for party leaders to evaluate current political realities within the district and outline practical steps to deepen grassroots participation. Central to the deliberations was the need to consolidate party structures at ward and community levels in preparation for future electoral contests, including renewed support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s leadership.

Participants also assessed the progress of the APC’s ongoing electronic registration exercise, which is designed to expand membership, improve data management, and enhance internal party coordination. Discussions further touched on prevailing socio-political issues within Lagos West and the importance of sustaining the party’s stronghold across the state.

In his remarks, Speaker Obasa emphasized the critical role of unity, discipline, and continuous engagement with party members at the grassroots. He charged leaders to remain proactive in mobilization efforts, noting that electoral success is built on consistent connection with the people. The meeting highlighted the APC’s resolve to strengthen internal cohesion and maintain its political dominance in Lagos State.
